What We Do

Ambassadors Group

Junior Science Ambassador Scheme

Schools select four to six year 5 or 6 students to become Junior Science Ambassadors. These students take part in a full day of specialist science communication training and are provided with 20 hands-on practical science demonstrations and a big box of kit to take back to school and use to engage the rest of the school with exciting science.

Pupils will receive a Discovery Junior Science Ambassador lab coat, a set of activity cards and a box full of the equipment required to perform the science demonstrations and activities back at school. These could be done in assembly, as part of a pop-up lab at lunchtime or part of Science Week.

Training can takes place at your school or a school near by. This training is well suited to cluster schools taking part together. All of this costs from as little as £250 per school.
